Next Generation: Recycled Rubber Foam

Next Generation: Recycled Rubber Foam

Following two years and eight months of equipment setup, process development, and extensive trial runs, Pro-Pad’s Recycled Rubber Foam production process is set to enter mass production in Q2 this year. This patented manufacturing process will offer the industry an innovative solution for transforming recycled rubber material into reconstituted foam, ensuring consistent performance in soft foam products.

Unlike conventional recycled foam produced via traditional lamination methods, Pro-Pad applies a unique foaming technology that creates a differentiated 3D foam structure. Even after recycling and reprocessing, the material retains the original softness, rebound, and support of soft foam, providing excellent cushioning properties to meet applications that demand both comfort and structural stability.

Currently, Recycled Rubber Foam is planned for use in underlays, anti-fatigue mats, and modular flooring tiles, providing the market with a material option that combines functionality and sustainability. With mass production underway, Pro-Pad will expand its practical applications, further advancing initiatives in the circular economy.
